All Bharat Artificial Intelligence Association (ABAIA) is a premier body aiming to put India as a key player on the global AI landscape. It provides a collaborative platform to AI startups and professionals for knowledge sharing and resources to develop applications of AI in enterprise workflows and everyday life. It also acts as an industry voice to provide recommendations to government bodies in formulating policies in the area of artificial intelligence.

Investments

ABAIA has an informal angel network of 25+ investors who have been startup founders and/or seasoned investors in startups. We look to invest in promising early-stage AI startups with the following attributes:

Building Enterprise AI solutions with a large TAM
Developing from India provides competitive advantage
Strong founding team with excellent capabilities or track record of enterprise application development
While we come in at early stage, we look at those startups that have developed product prototype and are close to MVP stage
Customers’ acceptance of the startups’ solution in the form of paid POC or recurring contracts (which can be subject to successful POC)
Founders having prior track record of owning P&L or having worked at CXO roles at established organizations would be preferred. We avoid investing in solo founders
