About
An association that treats the ecosystem as the product.
The All Bharat Artificial Intelligence Association is a national, non-profit industry body. It exists because India’s AI economy has plenty of talent and plenty of ambition, and not nearly enough connective tissue between the people who build, the enterprises that buy, the investors who back and the policymakers who regulate.
Vision
Where this goes
India as a maker of AI, not a market for it
The vision is an India that is a global hub for artificial intelligence — exporting products, research and standards rather than importing all three. That takes an ecosystem where innovation is encouraged, adoption is responsible, talent is nurtured and the gains reach industry and society alike.
Mission
The four pillars
Founded on four commitments
Public understanding
Webinars, events and workshops that make AI legible — to the people building with it and the public living with it.
Collaboration
A working network of AI startups and professionals who share problems, introductions and what actually worked.
Enterprise adoption
Concrete use cases for AI tools inside enterprise workflows — connecting the companies that need them to the builders who make them.
Startup funding
Backing promising AI startups with capital from an angel network of operators, and with strategic partners who become customers.
What that looks like in practice
The work, concretely
Convening
Sessions, talk shows and workshops with operators who have done the thing being discussed — logged publicly on the sessions page.
Enterprise connects
Matching enterprises that need AI in their workflows with members who have shipped the pattern — use cases first, slideware never.
Startup capital
ABAIA Angels, an informal network of 25+ operator-investors backing early-stage enterprise AI startups.
Research
IIDA, the association’s Focused Research Organization, turning deeptech research into IP, products and exports.
Policy voice
Practitioner input into government policy on artificial intelligence — recommendations grounded in what builders actually face.
Talent
Industry-driven skilling: workshops, executive programs and courses run with and through the association’s initiatives.
The people
Run by operators
A six-person core team, each with a named remit — community, enterprise, investments, fundraising, GTM, education — and a shared member register with every listed member public.
ABAIA is non-profit and non-political. Its initiatives publish what they are doing — including the parts that are not finished — because an association asking an ecosystem to trust it should be inspectable. Reach it at info@abaia.org.
